Bit of a weird adult one for you.
I own a house with my ex partner. It was a messy break up and happened around a year ago. We're both seeing new people now and communication was brief but reliable up until about three months ago.
I have sent him several forms of contact over the past two months asking for an update on the house but have had no response.
I still have an option of contacting his parents but I'd rather not do that. Instructing a lawyer is also costly and I'd rather avoid the big guns if possible, at least for now.
What is considered reasonable in this situation? I live in the UK.

If he's ignoring you and the situation, it's time to bring out the big guns. It'll make him look bad too. Win Win

>Instructing a lawyer is also costly
It's a minuscule amount compared to how much a house is worth.

Of course. But due to the bad break up, I wanted to try and keep things as reasonable as possible. I'm not after money, I don't want to be an ass, I just want to remove my name from the mortgage.
He's almost definitely ignoring me. I've tried his number, WhatsApp, personal email, work email, absolutely everything and I've been extremely reasonable.
