I am mad that I get labelled privleged when I had a shitty childhood in government housing when there are Asian kids who know two languages due to their up bringing and went to private schools.

There are different levels of privilege. A poor white person is still going to be more privileged than a poor black or Hispanic person. It's not like you're either privileged or you're not, it's a spectrum taking into account a variety of factors. OP may not be as privileged as those girls, but OP still is privileged because they're white.

I grew up in government housing.

I had to speak to social workers about my parents.

My dad has mental illness and has attempted suicide.

My mum left used dildos laying around for her kids to see.

My dad once go angry and lit my mums car on fire.

My dad once got angry and rammed mums car with her own.

I had several different step mums growing up.

My parents didn't give a shit about my grades or how well I was doing in school.

Seeing this shit as a child fucked me up and it was very difficult for me to figure out how to live a normal life.


Yet I am labelled privleged.. Usually by upper middle class assholes because I'm mot black.
