Because they're the parts people are most insecure about because it involves other people, and more specifically, it's trying to play the interactive game known as interpersonal dynamics and chemistry.

It's because people need an outside opinion since the two people involved tend to be very stuck in how they interact with one another, and they need a neutral third party to separate who's being shit-tarded, and who's actually being a human being.
