My AC doesn't work, I've got two fans running with

thats actually bad, even if its hot outside, airflow is what makes you think its cool.

my honest advice is to just put one fan right in front of you, and the other right in front of a window / open door so its blowing air in, and if oyu're home all day dont be afraid to just go dunk your head in the bathtub with the water set to cold.

i mean context is key but if its baking in your room thats bad. unless its already significantly cooler in your room, all keeping the door / windows closed does is block the airflow.

There's no such thing. Use your two fans in a push/pull fashion like in a computer.

There used to be this infographic (remember those?) that used to be shared around here, that showed how to make a home made AC out of a rubber hose, a fan and a couple bags of ice. I did it one year, a long time ago, in my hobo days. Shit actually worked, and it actually got too cold at one point.

Fans only help if the temperature of the room is already around normal room temp. If it's hot, then it's only blowing hot air around and adding a small amount of heat from the motor.

What I do when it gets super hot is just go out in public to the library or something. Enjoy their AC.

If you get hot at home, fap before taking an icy cold shower. You will feel super relaxed and cooled afterwards.
