I can empathize with you OP. I had depression for quite a while. I used to think my boyfriend was doing some elaborate cruel joke, or that there was some catch. I couldn't believe someone like him would actually, genuinely love someone like me. I still struggle with those feelings and low self-esteem in general, but it's gotten better.
