I've got two job opportunities for the summer
1. event security guard (interview required), 1 hr + commute by bus depending on event location
2. light general labour at a sunglasses factory, (no interview req.) night, 30-40 minute commute by bus
pay rate about the same, and I'm only there for ~3 months. Which one do you believe is better?

the event security one might be difficult if the bus has set routes and one of the events isn't on a route.

That is true, 2bh. They didn't specify that I needed a drivers license though.
I'm just on the fence because they advertised having positions for entry level and getting my foot in that industry would be nice for the future.
On the other hand, the other job is stable shift and location wise and I'm really only looking for a job for money and not necessarily for experience.
night shifts suck.

event security sounds pretty fun, i sure as hell wouldnt work at a factory when i have a choice. event security sounds pretty good for a future.

also, i'll add that the sunglasses job might suck and you'll quit, but really depends on where you live.
