All it takes is some bad luck, basically. If you knock someone out--which is more about where and how you hit than it is about power--and they take a limp fall and hit the ground in exactly the wrong way, they could end up paralyzed or with life-threatening damage.

You killing someone should be pretty far down on the list of things you should be concerned about if you get into a fight. Number one should be getting killed yourself.

friends brother got into a fight and the guy did pic related then punched him in the back of the head. he died instantly cause he separated his spine from his brain. if you watch professional fights its a real big nono to punch someone in the back of the head for that reason.

A purple eye is much worse than what movies show. It may be a sign that the bones around the eyes have broken, leading to visual damage.

this is why I don't get into fights. I've gotten really good at having confrontations without it ever getting physical. all it takes is knocking them over wrong and their head hitting something wrong.

Hit someone at the wrong angle with the appropriate force can cause severe/life threatening damage is very high. That's not taking into account of the individual's health.

The scariest thing I've ever witnessed was my close friend getting knocked out and when he hit the ground he stiffened up. Made me realize that concrete is a bad idea and that in real street fights it's no holds barred, you can be as dirty as you want.
