I want to start dating, but don't know how to go about it

I'm single for the first time in years, I'm 28, your life is probably way less fucked than mine but I still think it's a healthy approach to take things one day at a time and just try to enjoy being "with" yourself or else people will sense your desperation and fear and you'll attract all kind of losers. Other than "dating" and trying to find someone who will hit the right points in your checklist, that's the best option you have.
