Is it better to tell my boss I have the explosive shits and can't make the meeting today or should I tell a white lie and say I have to attend a family event I already mentioned to her might conflict? The meeting is this morning in less than an hour. I was going to attend but I'm shitting every 5 minutes for some fucking reason. I'd call her but I feel guilty calling in sick and know I'd sound weird.

Parents screaming at me every time I had to stay home from school so I get bad anxiety and guilt taking a sick day when I need to. I was feeling confused, lying almost seemed like the "better" reason, it's illogical
