Is quitting a minimum wage job for another minimum wage job a good idea or a bad idea? On one hand it gives you more shit to put on your cv but on the other hand it could ring alarm bells in your potential future employer's head when they see you jumping around too much.
Depends on why you want to quit. If it's something like more reasonable hours at the other job or poor management at the current job, then that's understandable. On the other hand, something like 'my friend works there' is a terrible reason.

I dont think future employers are going to frown on you jumping between low end jobs.
On that note, ive jumped between high end jobs. First off you can hide that shit by using a functional resume instead of a chronological. Not only that but if you job jumped a functional resume makes you look fucking kickass.
Secondly our generation already job changes a lot. We dont do life long careers anymore. Youll more likely look to a future employer like a well rounded and experienced employee who knows what he wants and theyll want to see what they can do to keep you.

I think most employer today won't be really sweat hard about thing most of time since jumping between jobs kinda become a normal occurence for today's generation, the trend of using freelancer/outsourcing also contribute to this.
Just to be on safe side, just write it in your resume that you quit because of rational or professional reasons like logistics, managements.

Better have a shitty job in your CV than a year on welfare. You can omit both on your CV anyway.
