Technically, yes, I did put myself in that situation. We dated for 6 years, daughter is 3. He snapped when she was almost one. General life pressure, he was never much of a drinker, and he's not a very nice drunk. I can honestly say I tried. I tried for years. Then eventually I just had to say 'How long are you going to do this to yourself?'. Yes, it could happen to a man. But usually a guy can get away from a woman. But the idea that someone amazing can just grow into a monster is a sad reality for both genders.
Custody wars can be messy. There's really not much I can say about it. Fighting through your kids is just going to screw them up...and dad's can pollute children too.
As for my work, I'm just doing what I have to, to get by. If one job is not enough, get two. Would like to go to school, but it's a vicious cycle of time. Can maybe consider online school at some point but not right now. Point is, it's no easier being a woman period.
