Guys just don't ask out girls much anymore. I haven't asked out a girl in person in 4 years. It's not worth the embarrassment of getting rejected, or irritating someone who wants to be left alone. I'm not bad with women either, or the only guy that feels this way.

I think the whole alpha/beta thing is something stupid invented by the internet. Actually it is. Time it took you to find that person, read their profile, view their pics, make a profile online, message them, wait for a reply.

How is it worse? For whom? A 5 second introduction which leads to a 'not interested' reply ruins the other person's night? Sounds like it would ruin your night, because you fear rejection.
