The reason I asked is that the first is not a good idea - stretching the sphincter can weaken it, leading to incontinence problems later.

There's also a contradiction among the three. If you're into S&M then you want it to hurt, but if you just like the feel of it, then you don't want it to hurt. If you're trying to stretch yourself to make anal sex easier, then you're spoiling the S&M value.
