What's a good career that doesn't require university and leaves you with disposable income? I'm physically fit if that helps.
Mercenary, merchant marine, oil rig worker, truck driver (circumstantial), law enforcement (circumstantial; state troopers, not street cops, make bank). Also, trades (electric, plumbing, and welding), but you need to technically study for those, so I don't know if you count them as college.

Is military any good?

No. Not on its own. If you enlist, without a college degree, you'll earn a Mcdonald's salary. The prize is scoring high on their test, and getting a brainy position, like working with radar, computers, airplanes etc. After you get out, you put that on your resume and if you play your cards right, you work in the defense industry as a civilian fag.
Basically, people use the military as a resume builder - a stand-in for college.

If your into it, some sort of construction job. Mason perhaps. Try to join a union, as you may be able to get pension benefits. Pay for these kinds of trades is usually $40k and up, depending on the trade. Just don't fuck up and spend all your money. Make sure to save some of it in case you get laid off or if pension benefits are light. I hate seeing people who built up the country with their own hands ending up poor later in life
