I asked on /lgbt/ but I wanted to get some opinions from people who don't deal with this shit every day and so are used to it.

My brother lives with me, he's 24 I'm 28. Back in March I managed to come out to my parents, and I'm ready to tell him, but I don't know how to get it out.

My dad I assumed already knew so I asked him for advice and that went south.

My mom we were talking about a facebook post where someone was asking their parents if they would disown her if they knew she was gay.

I mean, I'm transgender but same concept.
