I currently work full time in the hospitality industry as a hotel night auditor for a very large Corporate chain

I have benefits, health insurance, and while my pay is kind of ass I still make slightly better than usual for this market.

The problem is my hotel is a disaster. Is disorganized, management is inefficient and ineffective, I'm always fixing other people's problems or putting in extra work to keep things from going off rails. I work across two, sometimes three departments. I was hired as an auditor but at some point, volunteering to help out, got thrown into our hotels little cafe where I wound up cooking with almost no training and absolutely no experience. When I'm not cooking eggs at 6 am I'm coming in at 11-7 overnight to deal with oversells and other issues as the only person in the building.

I sometimes work three separate schedules in one week, and as such have no real schedule to speak of. I can be working pretty much any hours, any days from week to week. I never know what next week's schedule will be.more than a day or two.in advance. Despite being the work-horse, despite being one of the few people to score well when corporate audits us, despite everyone loving the shit out of me for helping them in their departments, I've been passed over for supervisor twice, and it's looking like maybe a third time. I'm depressed and angry, and I just called in sick two nights in a row. I've had perfect attendance for two years straight until now.
