Has anyone here been on a cross country train or plane? I have to choose between one but I have a lot of anxiety.

considering the recent lack of customer service regarding planes, a train would be more fun i'm guessing
planes are cool though as well after an ativan. alcohol BAD when taking ativan. you cant mix those.
Trains might be more fun if you want to see the country. You can look outside and get a proper sense of scale. Planes you get in, get out, look at landmarks, get in get out.
Idk about safety or anything but I imagine the trip will be more interesting on train
I've been on both. Train was a nice experience. The plane trips were all 10+ hours long so I don't really remember them fondly. What gives you anxiety?

I have a sensitivity to smell and apparently the air quality on trains and planes is really bad and I don't want to freak out

I don't really remember the air being any different, but then again my sense of smell sucks. If you think it's gonna be bad maybe the plane is a better idea since it's faster, right?
Been flying throughout most of my life, I get a little anxiety during landing and take off. I just close my eyes and focus on breathing. Once I'm in the air I feel a lot better.

I am pretty sensitive to smells as well.
Air quality on planes is usually mildly decent. The only unpleasant moment is during meals.
It is very dry tho.
On trains, it depends. High end trains usually don't smell bad at all.

Wtf is a high end train

Planes are the safest transportation but if I had the chance I'd take a train because trains are fucking cool.
