I've been to big bars and I've been to smaller ones. In my experience the smaller ones suck even more especially if you're alone cause those bars tend to already have an established community of regulars, I tried talking to a woman last week in a smaller bar and she wouldn't give me the time of day cause she felt like she was being watched by everyone she knew and this stranger nerd was being weird chatting her up. And then last night I tried talking to 3 completely drunk strangers, 2 girls and a guy, and they were beyond rude, loud and obnoxious.
