>Be dude in my 20's
>Volunteer to help out high school extracurricular programs because I'm a responsible member of my community
>Teenaged girls make blatant passes at me while I'm there
>Have to have a female friend who also volunteers at the same shindigs bail me out when several of them come to my desk and try to chat me up
The fuck did this become a thing? Has this always been a thing? Is there a better way to avoid this thing than what I'm already doing?
You're avoiding it because... ?
you're not fooling anybody creep

This attitude is exactly why I'm treading on eggshells.
This has always been a thing.
Part of it is competition, them seeing who can get something out of you
Not sure of the problem, can't you just ignore them? Are you attracted to them?
Sending them back to their seat in a really no-nonsense tone or otherwise making it clear you're not tolerating their shit, they need boundaries.
