Is it common to get yeast infections after unprotected intercourse? It started after trying without a condom and him finishing inside. I thought at first the irritation caused from dryness and lack of lube favoured it. Also in the last year I've changed the partner so the problem can only lie with me.
And another related question: sweat also seems to be a trigger. I wash myself daily and use cotton underwear but 8hrs a day, sitting at a desk in a hot/sweaty office just overwhelms me. I inevitably sweat no matter what I wear. Anything that can be done in such a situation?
tl;dr i think i have yeast infection or maybe BV from unsafe sex. also sweat at work. what do?
Are you me?
I don't always get yeast infections from unprotected sex, but it has happened to me before... and I always shower either before or after. I noticed that with my ex it was common, but with my current by I have never gotten one.
As for the sweating, there isn't much to do. There is this Summer's Eve fine powder you can put down there to help keep it dry. It isn't noticeable or anything. Definitely works for me.

Was it worst if he finished inside? I've read that semen can upset the balance
I can get away a few times if he pulls out in time and doesn't thrust in dry.

Go to gyno.
And next time always go piss after intercourse.

Not ruling out STDs as I haven't been tested just yet, but I don't have any other symptoms besides occasional minor itching (first time it happened it was pretty extreme) and fishy discharge, sometimes only the latter.
>Is it common?
From what I've heard, yes.
>Sweating
