I'm typing quite optimistically, but perhaps they find you to be physically attractive.
I worked two jobs before college - one that was filled with normies (supermarket cashier) and one that wasn't (car assembly line) - and never got this question. But I started to work out and take better care of my appearance, and by the time I got to college, I got asked this quite a bit.
