Just started working at my first job a few weeks ago, and everyone has been asking me (as the first or second thing we've said to eachother) whether or not I have a girlfriend.
Is this just something normies ask eachother right off the bat, or does it mean something?

They all want your dingdong dude. The women AND the men.

I'm typing quite optimistically, but perhaps they find you to be physically attractive.
I worked two jobs before college - one that was filled with normies (supermarket cashier) and one that wasn't (car assembly line) - and never got this question. But I started to work out and take better care of my appearance, and by the time I got to college, I got asked this quite a bit.
Best of luck at your job

Thanks for the reply anon, context helps.
Yeah I think I'll try steering clear of the whole coworker relationship thing..
Oh, since I haven't told anyone else, why not:
Cut my hair this sunday and the pervyjokester one ran her hand through it at the start of my shift yesterday.
Do I have to be some square & be upset/set boundaries or can I just play it loose & ignore shit so long as it doesn't really bother me?
Would that be asking for trouble in the near-future?
I'm not used to this shit.
