i have a 100% hw average, 97% quiz average, but only 79% exam average because I fucked up one exam

granted, that one exam was my fault, but he doesnt know that. My issue is the only way to get up from an A- to an A is to get a legit 100% on the final exam. I want a little wiggle room so I was wondering if there was anything you guys thought i could do to help the situation

i was thinking referencing how well i've done in the rest of the course as well as referencing stupid mistakes on the exams as reasons why my exam average is low
