If you find yourself in a situation where, for example, you manage to scratch your face, blinding yourself, and bleeding.
You wouldn't die, but you would be severely incapacitated by pain and the lost of your vision. What's the best course of action in such a situation? Or other similar extremely painful/crippling but not deathly situations?
Go to a doctor?
Are you asking about how to treat the wound on your own? Your won't be able to if you aren't trained already, you'd be blind with no supplies. Find a doctor.

Easier said than done when you are blinded and crippled by the pain of being blinded.

If you can't attempt to contact help, what the hell do you expect to be able to do independently?

Then how are you posting?

I'm not against asking help, I just don't know how you'd do it. I don't know what you could possibly do in such a situation.

The "situation" is so vague we can't really give any concrete advice. You're blinded and bleeding. Ok. Where? With what supplies? Do you have access to clean water?
Go download a pdf of "Where there is no doctor" and start reading.

I can really only think of 2 scenarios that would make much of a difference:
In an urban area where you could maybe get heard screaming.
Or in the wild where nobody could.
