I need to take a social science course(sociology, anthropology, journalism etc...) in order to graduate. It can be any course, but there are so many to choose from. I'm just looking for a fun and interesting course. Can anyone recommend me something?

Cultural anthropology
If you get a good prof, it'll open your eyes so much

Does economics count? Probably the most interesting subject you can take if it does, otherwise I'd go with journalism since learning to read the news and understand bias is actually kind of important.

anthropology is the top dog for fun social science. really depends on your preferences and the college though. any more information?

It's kind of hard to list the classes since there's so much and there's a wide range of topics. I can list certain sections though. I'm not really sure what I would be interested in taking. My major is Comp Sci if that helps.

you could try psychology so that if you fail to get internships or a job after you finish your degree you can keep your head on straight.

If you have the prerequisites, definitely go for Tourism, Math or Law. Those classes sound sick as fuck.

If not, 120 is still good.

Social "sciences" tend to be the most cancerous when it comes to political bullshit, so be careful.

I took anthropology of religion, which sounds like it would have been really bad in that sense, but I took it with a great professor who I had for biological anthropology. Very objective, grounded, and interesting.

If your school happens to count biological/physical anthro as a social science, I'd reccomend that. I'd also reccomend your general psych 101 class or similar as long as it's also a good professor.
