I just think if she doesn't want you to call her she doesn't like you that much, so why even waste time with her. But also, if you do call her you need to be comfortable talking on the phone. It can be really difficult with a girl that doesnt talk so much, because there's no body language, no eye game, no touching... Very easy to go into "dead air" mode on the phone. I think this is why you shouldn't call her; You're simply too bad at talking.

Texting conveys little to no emotion or feeling. Too much is lost or misinterpreted by relying on it as a main form of communication.

Texts are probably the second most impersonal thing, just under anonymous imageboards.

The entire point of a voice call is to make the other person feel your presence. When you're dealing with women it's not A -> B -> C -> done, it's more like A -> B -> A -> B (repeat in a loop) until she's had her fill of the feelings she wants. If her default conversation filler isn't giving her the feelings she wants then that's your fault for letting her unhappy herself.

Immature people maybe. If I'm gonna call someone I always tell them before-hand. I had my first gf when I was 15 and I used to text her all day, I ran into some of the things we used to talk about and it was some of the most mundane pointless drivel imaginable. I actually got second hand embarrassment and would never show it to anyone.

The great thing about text is that you can envision the recipient paying attention to it. In a conversation you may see that they don't care. Frankly I think this has already affected people. Some people get offended when you give the cues that you don't care. This might be the reason. Used to the delusion that they are interesting, and unable to deal with reality.
