I'm not really sure where to ask about this, but this place came to mind.
My friend was raped. She's been shutting herself in and hasn't been attending any of her classes and the other night she finally told me and one other friend about it. She still refuses to leave her house and doesn't want anyone around her. I know I can't help significantly since the damage has already been done, but I still want to do something. I don't know. I feel so sad for her and the affect it's had on her and I'm fucking furious.
I guess I'd like to know if any of you have any knowledge on a situation like this. I don't want to overstep any boundaries or make her feel any worse about this. I don't want to leave her alone either, though.

It is a hard time for her. You need to give her patience but also be there for her.
Even if shes not attentive, shooting her a message here and there and asking if its okay for you guys to meet somewhere (like a cafe) will do a lot.
