Back to topic. Not talking about the underlying issues here, only my tips on how to bide your time.

Your main enemy is time itself. So I recommend NOT to look at clocks or calendars too much.

Try to make every day almost the same. Have a certain routine you always do, so your mind will compress your memories of the days that passed.

Distract yourself from the passing of time, either by procrastinating a lot or taking up some hobby or activity you can do from home. Make sure whatever you do is monotone and numbs your mind a bit so you aren't aware of the time. After a few weeks of this you won't be able to tell which month it is and your memories of the period will be a numb empty mess.

Also, take steps to ensure you will keep some of your sanity. Psycho hygiene is a must. Reflect on your state of mind regularly so you won't slide into a severe depression. Even if you are extremely careful, you will still hurt yourself psychologically though. There's no way around this, unless you are zen level over 9000.

And last: This is shit advice. I've lived like this for a long time and I would not recommend going down this road to anyone unless you really, really, hate yourself but can not kill yourself for whatever reason.
But that's how you make time go by faster.
