How do you chase a girl? I feel like I have never actively chased someone, my past relationships either the girl has chased me or it was mutual from the beginning.
There is this girl I like, I added her on facebook and messaged her, she seems pretty responsive and happy to chat, since then I have messaged her on two other occasions in the span of about 9 days and both time she has been responsive. I'm at the stage now where I kind of want to see if she will initiate if I abstain for a while, is this a good idea? Or should I keep messaging her every now and then to gauge her interest further. I mean if she likes me somewhat by now I feel like she should make some effort, or am I being idealistic here.

Yeah I'm working towards that, she's on holidays at the moment for a few weeks so I thought I'd wait until she gets back to ask her out.
