Now, my mom gave me herpes simplex 1 when I was a kid, because she wanted to set me up for failure. Fuck her for that.

As time went on I got frequent, fucking horrible outbreaks where my entire T-spot on my face would be plagued by disgusting fucking blisters. Nothing worked. Valtrex didn't work, various creams didn't work, if anything the moist texture and irritating feeling just bolstered it.

But eventually my doctor prescribed me something called Valacyclovir. Its apparently made to handle genital herpes (simplex 2, not simplex 1) so hopes weren't high. Then my hopes dropped even lower when I was greeted with a fucking horse pill that would make anyone choke. I cut it in half and swallowed it, and to my surprise, it completely stopped the herpes in its tracks.

I took it right when the outbreak started, and the single blister couldn't even progress at all, and it was completely obliterated in 2 days. It never spread, at all. Just destroyed.

So if your life is being ruined by this fucking dumb disease, go pick up some Valcyclovir. It works fucking miracles. (At least for me.)
