Did a bong hit a couple of weeks ago had a seizure and ever since I havent felt right. Went to doctor, everything is fine got my vision tested. I constantly feel out of it or "floating" It's worse when I'm in my car driving though. It sometimes looks like the road or environment wobbles and then I get a sense of panic. Whats wrong with me?
sorry repost is it depersonalisation or derealization?

congratulations you gave yourself depersonalization disorder over a fucking leaf

keep any seizure symptoms in check and try to roll with everything like normal, staying away from stimulants and being more healthy overall is a good idea
>>
>>18190761
oh and don't try looking more into this disorder, that's what keeps people in it because it feeds the cycle of stress/anxiety - just know that you can recover and distraction's the key

again: stay away from drugs you faggot
>>
>>18190767
yeah i already looked up the disorder and looped my brain. It's hard to stay away from shit because its all my friends do.

>did a bong
lol

i've had seizures from drugs/drug combinations before, although only after a lack of sleep. (nothing nearly as weak as a bong hit, though.) i have since been diagnosed with generalized idiopathic epilepsy, which means that for reasons unknown to me or my doctors, i have a lower seizure threshold than the average person.

i wouldn't necessarily describe what you're experiencing as depersonalization or derealization, although i wouldn't entirely rule them out, either. the best thing for you to do at this point is probably to see your primary care physician, get a recommendation to a neurologist, and take an EKG/EEG. feeling unusual weeks after a seizure is unusual, even for someone with epilepsy.

drugs can sometimes bring out pre-existing but dormant neurological disorders. it's important that you see a specialist for this.

by the way, especially if you live in the U.S., i do not recommend driving your car for the time being. if you have a history of seizures (even if it's only one) and you end up in an accident due to related symptoms or a seizure itself, your insurance may refuse to cover it. not sure how this is in other countries.

yeah I do have epilepsy but it has never been a problem before this during all sorts of drugs. My gp said I was fine. I'm still feeling weird. Sorta am afraid to tell my gp i had a seziure tho as I wont be able to drive for 6months and I'll lose my job.

if you have epilepsy and had a seizure after taking a simple bong rip, your GP was sincerely wrong. it's not his/her fault, you may have appeared to have had normal wavelengths on neurological tests or had gone long enough without a seizure. still, your brain is very obviously neurologically atypical.

without trying to pry, what does your job entail that would prevent you from working any longer? is it a driving/machinery-related job?

I can smash absurd amounts of all kinds of fun psyches and be fine, but a couple of drinks will leave me in a horrible disassociative state for days. I've noticed it the last few times I've been drinking (to excess) and it sucks, but MDMA is cheaper than booze anyway.

Just roll through it, anon. Focus on reminding yourself that it will end and the next thing you know, it will have.
>>
>>18190771
you have a higher chance of recovering since yours was induced physically (seizures/weed) unlike those who have it from trauma and or long-term mental illness

just gotta cleanse yourself of toxins and keep healthy as i said and you should be good to go, you're one of the luckier ones
>>
>>18190792
It's not driving relate but I won't be able to drive to work.
>>
>>18190807
Thanks. Do you think going to the gym would be a good start?
>>
>>18190814
for sure, exercise has proven to not only be obviously physically healthy for you but does quite a number (positively) on you mentally as well - i know it's definitely been helping me
