I have a report due in 47 hours on rollercoaster structural analysis. I basically have to select a part of a rollercoaster and model possible structural arrangements for it on an FEA program to come up with a solution.
Someone else did this exact report last year here: https://ufile.io/646b7
My question is, does anybody know where I can get a free/cracked copy of a FEA software package such as LUSAS?
My report will undoubtedly not be as good as the one I attached but I am trying to use it as inspiration.
Any help is appreciated, whatever ideas you can come up with with the whole report also.
Go use the one in the computer lab.

The one in the lab is an academic version with limited use for what I need it for.

Are you in a first world country? I promise they have LUSAS professional edition, maybe ask a professor who teaches your subject at the graduate level. Just walk in and ask anyone related to the field, but do it right away, like to to the engineering offices and look for someone in an office with a door, they're important. They can tell you, or ask the weaboo faggot in charge of the computer lab.

I am but apparently a shitty one. I've had a whole year to do this and left it until 2 days before the deadline so that's probably a bad idea, its meant to be a thesis but I reckon I could bash out the 9000 worsds/50 pages like the file in the OP in 2 days of no sleep

Yeah, if you had the software. Did you make any friends in your discipline who have it?

Afraid not. It's quite expensive stuff..
I think what I might have to do is just use the crappy version of it to come up with something.
When I get the inevitable backlash I could maybe see about a formal complaint, if the uni doesn't even have the software on their pc's then they can't expect me to cough up the cash for it on top of the tuition I give them

They'll just say you knew what the requirements were and they gave you plenty of time to drop the class.

its a dissertation and everyone has to do one on a prescribed list. I had no choice

A monograph, right? You have to get a hold of this software.
