I dropped out of college in 2008 after a few weeks because the only reason I went was to live on my own without any rules on when to go to bed or how long I could play videogames.
Is it too late to go back? Or is there some other way to fix my life?
How would I decide what to get a degree in? I feel like people think I'm stupid because all I have is a high school diploma.
its never too late to get an education, study what interests you
Do you want to work with your hands?
Do you want to work with your mind?
Do you want to work with people?
How do you feel about how much risk you put yourself in? Both physically & monetarily?
What is your ideal $ range? (if you don't know, then what do you want to do/get which costs money?)
Do you want to 'do good'?
Do you want respect/renown/power?
What are higher priorities than others?

I do not like physical risk at all. Some monetary risk is acceptable.
I just want to be able to do whatever and buy stuff without thinking how much money I have

I don't really have any priorities or anything. I would just like to have a reason to live or to actually enjoy life.

So you have no preference about whether you're pushing a pencil for 10 hours, gardening, or serving angry customers?
Biggest thing with being able to buy stuff without worry is minimizing expenses.
Cut out family/social life & downsize your living, suddenly you'll have disposable income even with a lousy job. That what you want?
So you would be ok with causing harm/strife with your livelihood? (shit's anonymous, you can be honest if you can handle the likewise anon criticism)
And you would be ok with being treated like dirt/disrespected so long as you got a paycheck?
Reason to live is up to you. Getting a job just lets you get where you're going.
For example, a do-gooder could volunteer in some hellhole or go into medscience. Just depends on whether they want a cushy life with options or a spotless footprint on the world.
Where they were going decides what career they go into.

I want more of a social life, not less. And I certainly don't want to downsize anything.
I don't really care about harming other people for a paycheck but I'd rather not take shit from anyone. And I thought jobs that need degrees don't have to bother with customers.
re: pic unrelated to post, I switch the lever to the track lined with the kikes making us all wage slaves.

Thanks, /v/. You're always off-topic.

There are two reasons to go to college
--to qualify for a white-collar job
--to learn stuff because that's fun for you.
I don't hear either of those in your post.
There are plenty of good, respected professions you don't need college for. The world will always need plumbers, electricians, bus drivers, mailmen, barbers, firemen, truck drivers, construction workers, salesmen, etc etc etc

Most of those require certificates & skills training from college, fyi.
