How much was the balance?
How many late payments? And how late?
Any other charge offs or bad debt on file?
How long have you had your credit for?
Any recent(3 month or less) inquiries?

If you let the card expire and don't renew it, can it still affect your credit score adversely? Isn't that like extorting a person to keep buying a service?
