I don't have enough space for everything.
I read so many articles on "cute space saving ideas" that don't actually save space, just organise stuff or demand you throw stuff away or build a fucking closet under the stairs.
My husband is a musician I'm an artist and we're both currently crammed into one room containing all we own, sofa, massive old TV, bed, 2 desks, 2 wardrobes plus 7 guitars, mics, canvases, computers, vinyls...
You get the idea, it's all stuff we NEED, the furniture is expensive vintage stuff passed down or stuff like wardrobes we need for day to day living. We are moving out hopefully within the next 6-12 months to our own house but for the minute we're stuck.
We can't get rid of anything but on the other hand we also can't flipping get to anything.
What the hell do we do? How can we make this more workable?
Get an offsite storage unit.
It's called a storage unit.

That is stupidly expensive around here, almost as much as renting a room

Then rent a bigger place. What the fuck are you expecting?

> It's all stuff we NEED!
Maybe you don't actually need that stuff. Have you considered selling some of it?

Hang shit on the walls. take up more volume of the room instead of area of the floor (stack things up instead of lay across floor). All i can think of really

We're working on that but it takes time.
>What the fuck are you expecting?
At the minute? Probably mice.

It'd be a pain to sell it then have to buy the same stuff again so soon.

Slanted ceiling is killing us but thanks for the help, I might have to figure a way to hang stuff on a slant.

Perhaps see if a friend is willing to store it for some time either for a small fee or free.
Store everything smarter, stack it and hang stuff that can be hanged.
