oh wow another one of the "idk what to do with my life" threads
im 19 and i dropped out of school 2 weeks ago. i dropped out because i am emotionally weak and have a bad work ethic. i couldnt handle the stress and the pressure and i cracked. my parents were pretty understanding 2 weeks ago but now i think they want me either gone or back in school. i really dont think i can go back realistically. i live in a really expensive area of california so if i move out i would have to move far away. im just lost i dont really know what else to say. i dont crave a crazy lavish life style i just need out of here. i dont know how much longer im gonna last. any help is appreciated
Don't lose hope, OP.
I guess if you are unstable and cannot go back to school then your last option is to get your GED/HiSet.
You can take it and be self taught in your home, but you gotta study a lot so you can finish that high school equivalence.
Tell your parents you still want to study and tell them that you want to get your GED.
Oh and seek a psychologist, you still have to become emotionally stronger and start having a better work ethic since that isn't going to take you anywhere in life, OP.

Hmm not so similar to you but I'm 18 and didn't graduate. Went to the very last day of school but missed 1 credit and 20 something community service hours. It really won't phase you in time. I've been bussing tables for 3 years now at different restaurants, I suggest you try bussing. It's easy and I've always lied about having a diploma just Incase they actually care about it. The only time I wish I would have graduated was when I really wanted to join the army. But, I'd rather be where I am now. Slowly paying off a car, a phone, pitching in for bills, and mostly doing what I feel like. Soon I'll be buying a hotdog cart and hopefully it's a cash cow. Try working and smoking weed too. I'd break a deal with my parents if I was you and start paying bills but not go to school.

But I do recommend getting a GED, I will soon. And keep learning and read a lot. A friend told me something that stayed stuck in my mind for a while. "School is getting in the way of my education". Also get some hobbies. Coin collecting is fun and so is origami. Smoking weed and jacking off after a workout keeps me alive. Eat good food and in moderation. Cut your hair nice and short faggot.
