It looks really artificial, dramatic even.
The pose is like the posterchild of a cheesy 90s romantic comedy.
All that's missing is drew barrymore and wtf are you wearing?
Your hair could use a little work, obviously you're attractive but that outfit and this photo makes you look a little more beta than you should.

Maybe it's to do with the bottom half of your body being blurred by the lens doing a weird tilt shift, and it subconsciously triggers something in the person-who-commented's mind thinking this picture is awful. If it was not blurred they might not even think that.

Either that or it's those skinny jeans

Basically you look uncomfy and dress like you just left a time machine. It's not horrible but not really good either.

I feel bad now - it was me who said it wasn't a great pic in that other thread. It's not absolutely dreadful, but you're a good looking dude and it doesn't do you justice. Could do with a better angle and clothes from this decade.
