I've been there. Not a day goes by that I didn't wish I beat the ever living shit out of him. Circumstances were different but still should have put him into the hospital. Honestly just leave town sell everything you can find a new life... if you're responsible enough to handle that

Having an attachment to an on-and-off again relationship is the problem to begin with. My two year relationship with the girl i've known for 7+ years just ended with her cheating on my "best friend". Point is if your "friend" knew you liked her a lot then he wouldn't do it if he's your friend. Suicide is never the option. Your feelings weren't made clear so there was never anyway she or he could have known, doesn't diminish the fact that it happened however there's a lot of information necessary to make a better informed opinion such as did you tell her how you felt? did you tell him how you felt? if none of those came up you can't really be upset at them you honestly can only be upset at yourself in which case suck it up and if it hurts that much stop communication with them

Don't worry, you can do better than her. My bf has an ex gf that did that to him. Jokes on her. Shes all alone and hates her life and he has me.
I wouldn't trade him for anyone and we have the perfect relationship.
