I'm actually at the point right before it gets bad. If I were to take finasteride I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue regrowing my crown but yeah.

Finastride side effects aren't that bad if you're getting it to combat baldness since you'll likely be put on the smallest dose possible. Problem with that is that when your doctor will send it to your pharmacy, even with good insurance it'll likely never be covered since it won't be for UTI, but for cosmetic.

Also, it's effects aren't the best. So whether or not you'll regrow your crown is up in the air. I've helped patients on it for years and seen little to no benefit. But to be fair, none of them have gone bald yet.
