I was thinking about raising my credit limit from 2500 to 5000, but when the bank checks your credit history, do they look at your individual purchases?
I spent some money at a casino last month (was on vacation, literally my first time ever doing it) and i'm wondering if that's going to raise a red flag.
Should I wait a few months before I try?

Why? Just open more accounts.
One time at a casino won't raise any red flags, daily/weekly casino trips would be more concerning though

All this shit is automated.
The bank wants you to borrow money. They make money on the fees. If you have an income, they do not care how you spend it. If you are not paying your cc bill in full each month then you are an idiot, but the bank loves you, as long as you pay the minimum.

Good relationship with bank and not setting the account to let you over draw are key factors. As for individual transactions, not really. Mostly will be how much debt you have and credit score.
