Talk to your doctor.

Medicine is far more trial-and-error than we like to think. Faced with a patient with a problem, all a doctor can do is propose a medicine that has helped the most people in the past, knowing it won't help everyone and might even harm some. The doctor relies on you to report back. If it didn't work for you, he'll try the second-most-likely medicine, and maybe the third.

But you have to tell him the first was wrong.
