Is physics a good degree? I'm currently studying a dual law/business major but think I might transfer over to STEM subjects because I hate my current major. Physics and astronomy has always interested me. I've also heard that it's a very flexible degree that can get you into finance/inv banking

Don't dual major. Less time to relax. More stress. High chance of burnout like you did.
No, Physics is not a good degree. Check job sites. No one is really looking for physics graduates. Finance and software companies take great physics majors, but there are not that many positions and chances are you'll not be that good.
EE studies the same physics with much better employment opportunity.
>Physics and astronomy has always interested me.
That's just not enough. The degree is really really difficult. Half-assed motivation is not enough.
I work in finance and I think physics is good. But you need to learn to program as well.
I was a math grad myself.

Not OP. How good is a math/CS dual major? (Assuming I can handle the stress.)

Just do it. Regret later. It's human to err.

??
But is it good as a degree?

I don't think so. Dual major is BS in my opinion. Most people couldn't even handle a single major.
But who knows, just do it.
