Is 5'9 a respectable height? I'm 18, and just gained 1.5 inches. Does this mean I may actually grow more?

respect is earned at 6 feet
>>18157677
>implying anything under 6'2 isn't manlet-tier
>>18157672
No. Manlets are not respectable in the least

Guys, I have a genuine question. My height is really affecting me. It has made me very insecure.
>>18157672
After you get off 4chan and into the real world height isn't all that big of a deal.
This manlet stuff is only a meme, and the only real way your height might effect you is women who are tall probably won't date you (the small percentage over 5'8)
It's really not that big of a deal

Thank you.

I'm 5'9, I'm as taller, if not taller than most people I encounter.
It is an average height. every now and then that "king of manlets" phrase pops in my head and I feel self conscious, but 4chan is like a trolling game. They say things to get to people, and it works. And like most bullies, there is a response to everything.
For example:>>18157695
But in the real world, it doesn't matter. What matters is your response to things and your attitude.
Women tend to sort into relationships with men 4-6 inches taller than them, and the average woman is like 5'4", so you're fine
If you are insecure because of what women might think of you, get this: most women simply care about the guy being taller than them, not him being 6+ feet. And since most women are shorter than 5'9, you are completely fine.

I know a guy who is 5'0 and he has no problem getting women. Sure, he only gets the super short ones, but he still gets them.

Thank you to all of you. This wasn't really about women liking it, but I appreciate all the advice. Thank you.
