be careful, man. im not bipolar, and was misdiagnosed (and i kind of lied about things to get pills) .. but thats beside the point.. idk what its like being bipolar, but i would imagine being manic is fun, but possibly dangerous. i understand you dont feel like your normal self, but be careful. maybe see another doctor and tell him you feel like shit

I could benefit from feeling this way. i just started on citalopram and im hoping it kind of blunts my emotions a bit. i made a lot of decisions based on my current emotional state rather than logic

That said, if your doctor isn't listening to you get another fucking doctor. He serves you, in this case. He's the fucking product.

Bipolar is dangerous. psych meds can also be dangerous to stop without the guidance of a physician, so either way I'd look into changing doctors again first.

The problem is my insurance is severely restrictive right now. I could possibly see a different physician at the same clinic but I don't think it would benefit me well.
