Not from simply viewing pornography - but yes if you are addicted to it. There's no clear cut rule as to how often you have to be doing it to consider yourself addicted, but if you're whacking it because you need to, rather than just cause you feel like it, you should probably cut back and try to replace some of that time/energy with another activity.

Abstaining from porn entirely has no benefits (unless you're addicted and need to go cold turkey). I believe abstaining from masturbation is somewhat unhealthy and you're better off doing that at least once a week, but don't quote me on that.

But... Besides porn, masterbating DESTROYS your initiative, ability to create, and will to make money. It has become politically incorrect to admit this, but any old self help book will lay it out for you. Try reading "think and grow rich". When you don't masterbate, and especially when you withdraw from sex, your brain goes crazy from not cumming. Eventually it will calm down and you will feel a engine of motivation and genius that will allow you to produce things, for example, brilliant art or success in your job. You will literally gain a few IQ points by withholding sex. You will feel happier and more focused. You might be quicker to anger.

So for your situation perhaps there is no "disadvantage" from your current vantage point. Rather, there is an advanage to abstain.
