Just me, but I stopped "going in for the kiss" after high school.

If it in any way feels like a gamble, I don't bother. You should know. You do the whole "brief moment of silence, look her right in her eyes and hold her gaze for a second or two, glance down to her lips and then slowly back up to her eyes," and if she's still looking into your eyes in eager silence, THEN you know she wants you to kiss her.

100% success rate for me at least.

My experience with this as a man:
When this happens and they seem to be really into the date and want everything ( get real close, flirt, all that shit) and then dont give you the kiss. it's because they were talking to 2 guys and the other date happened first.
She still wants to be with you and the date mightve gone well but there was someone who got there before you.
(no they didn't tell me this, i hear from their friends or see it through social media)
