In my honest opinion, I do believe you should work on improving yourself.

If you're going to go to Grad school, what is it for? If your masters is irrelevant, and you just want to throw money so that you can tell people you graduated from Harvard, then don't do it. But if getting a masters alone allows you to unlock a better salary, then why not? If it bumps you up by 10-15k annually, then the 2 years is worth the investment.

As for the gym, keep progress of yourself. Take pictures every week. If you want to tone it down a bit, by all means, but you should still remain physically active.
