how do i stop stressing over a lost usb? it has all my personal

Sounds like it's permanently lost, in this case there is nothing you can do and any worrying will cause you pain, therefore there is no point in worrying - unless you're a masochist.

If it's any consolation, I think that most people who find something like that wouldn't do anything malicious with the data, it's the same thing with people returning lost passports or wallets.

the last i remember of it was it fell on the side of my bed, i didnt really care about it. some new dirty fuckers moved into the apartment below mine and they own a dirty dog and i dont think they wash because they always stink and theres flies buzzing around on their floor and people complain about the smell when they walk past their house. anyway since then there have been mice in everyones apartments, is it possible do you think that a mouse could have moved it?

Anything is possible but the point is it's lost. I'm not sure about mice but I kind of doubt it, just based on the size ratio of mice to usb, although I'm sure you can run some searches on mice and hoarding small objects.

Maybe you have people frequently over and someone lifted it?
