What is up with my ribcage/body structure? Going to the gym is causing chronic pain and walking is kinda weird

I can't use a chest press machine w/o seething pain. i'm currently using assisted chinup and an abdominal crunch machine the most. i use most of the machines at planet fitness like 2 times a week

Do compound lifts
That means the Four Major Lifts
Overhead press, bench press, squat, and deadlift
Your shoulder press hurts because your're impinging your shoulders because you don't know how to have proper motion
Keep your elbows low and you won't hurt your shoulders

where is the pain?
looks like you have a barrel chest. I would advise you to start doing more core work to make your ribcage less prominent.
So do things like standing cable crunches, zercher holds, jefferson deadlifts, farmer walks, etc
Try asking on /fit/, you may get some shit, but you'll get some good advice

If you want a stronger core, do front squats over back squats
