Skin care for men guides? Does anybody here have any advice for those of us with rough skin (see attached).

I already was it a few times a day and always sleep with a fresh towel. (I'll have a shave before work tomorrow and yes I know I am ugly)

Check /fa/ skin general, it's pretty good even though it's kind of extreme you can just apply a mild version of it
>>
Wash and moisturizze twize daily
>>
Don't touch your face.

This. Wash once at night, and not too rough. You don't need to dig out the dirt that's already in your pores. You only need enough friction to exfoliate. Use a regular rag and don't even use soap (it will dry the fuck out of your skin and cause even more problems). The best you can do is drink enough water to assist your lymphatic system in taking care of your blemishes.

Don't take more than two minutes making little circles with the rag.

You may be taking away moisture from your face. Your skin has a protective barrier of good oils, and when you wash too much, it will put oil production into overdrive. Make sure you use a good quality oil-free moisturizer. Neutrogena and Equate are decent low-end brands.

For exfoliation, since shaving already irritates your skin, use chemical exfoliation. Silk Naturals has either an 8% AHA or BHA that will cleanse your skin of dirt, dry skin and clear up your pores. This will also reduce ingrown hairs.
