Unfortunately, it typically is one or the other. Scheduling is tough.

Best scenario is you find an early EARLY morning 1st shift position, whereby you are off by 2 in the afternoon. Go to class by 3 and hope there are scheduled classes that go into the evening, no later than 7. You'll still need hours to study and if your day job starts at 6am you're gonna need to be in bed by 11.

This is all possible, desu. It's a lot of work. Hard work. And timing/scheduling is key.

Other option (not recommended): calculate bills. Figure out your finances for (1) full year. Withdrawal extra financial aid allowance to cover these bills for the year. And keep this money aside, do NOT touch unless to pay your monthly rent/bills.

You ABSOLUTELY have to work a part time job. but no less than 24 hours/week this way. And you HAVE to be frugal! No extra spending. You won't have the time anyway. This job will generate you just enough income, if done correctly without too much spending, you will be able to pay a substantial enough amount towards your loans to cover the extra you took out for living expenses. IF you are able to discipline yourself this way, you'll exit college/university with just the same amount of debt that everyone else has.

This is not 100% sound advice, but it does give you a couple options. You're not permanently stuck. Shit just takes time. And by time, I mean years. It doesn't need to be a decade, but a couple/few years. Come to terms with this and you can start setting goals for yourself.

If you are able to accept these terms, the most practical scenario is full-time work and part-time school. This is easily manageable and far more achievable. It just takes (relatively) longer. Again, time management is key finding the right schedule. Post secondary school is far more involved than just going to class for 8-12 even 14+ hours a week. its the hours you put in outside of class that pay that shit off and enable you to succeed.
